Description:
The highest ski resort in the Eastern U.S. at an elevation of 5,506 feet, Beech Mountain offers 15 slopes on a vertical rise of 830 feet. It includes 10 total lifts, one of them a high-speed quad chairlift. Besides skiing, the resort offers snow tubing and an outdoor ice rink. It is located five miles north of Banner Elk.
Hours of Operation:
Open daily Dec - Mar (weather depending): 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Admission Details:
Lift ticket: Adults $34 - $52; Seniors (65+) and Juniors (5-12) $27 - $38; Children 4 and under are free.
